Bim x Northern improvement has worked great for me sold a $4500 steer and have a nice heifer on the ground now. What does everyone do with your pairs when they are old enough that they dont need to be in the calving barn. Do you put them right to pasture or do u keep them close in barns untill the grass is growing.  What do people use for cover for the calves, a calf shed or timbers or wind breaks

As high as reimanns cows sold at the first class sale, I would say it might be pretty crazy. Alot of good Cows tho. I would say there wont be any bargins    should bring what they are worth

The way the cows sold from reimans herd on the first class female sale i would say it will be very high and hard to make money on the purchase price. Just my opinion

What about wrapping wet bales.  As in baling the hay the day after you mow it and then come back with a wrapper and getting them wrapped in a tube with in 12 hours after they are made. I have heard of people doing this with their first cutting to avoid the rain.
