When setting a group of cattle up to breed, what type of syringe do you use to give your prostaglandin; disposable, or a repeater syringe gun? I currently use disposable, simply because I fear of drug residual in the gun, if used for something else in the future, but I only have 3 head I'm...
Has anyone used HARB Pendleton, the Angus bull? It says he is safe on heifers; but I was wondering what the real life experiences have been. I have a yearling Mo Better heifer that I'd like to breed to a Genex bull for a Spring 2013 calf. I'm open to suggestions, and I would love to see some...
This shouldn't effect your insurance, they should be filing the claim on their insurance. A couple years ago, the wind caught the door on a company pickup and it smacked the side of my car. We just filed a claim with the company insurance and they sent me a check for the quoted price.

How long have you been a member??
As some of you may know, I have been working on my MBA and I am now in the final project/thesis stage. I have been approved to do a business plan for turning my commercial cattle operation in to a club calf operation, as final project. I was just curious if anyone here at the Planet had a...
I don't post on SP very often, but I try to make it here at least once a day (or so) to keep caught up on all the happenings, and there are a few members that I always look for and make certain to read, RW is one of them. I'm just not sure the broad can continue to handle loosing all these...
Well there are lots of great moments, I can always get back to my "center" by watching my cattle graze and just listening to the sprinklers. No matter how stressful the day has been, there is just something about that combination that is so peacful.
And there is amost nothing better than...
