I got a purebred charolais 3 weeks ago and she had pretty long hair but not trained so good...i washed her like 2 days after i got her and her hair was fine and all of a sudden i washed her monday of this week and shes losing hair like crazy..i dont know why all of a sudden she started loosing...
yea the max age limit is 21...if i buy a heifer this fall i will being going considering it will be the last time i can show in it...if you need anymore info let me know..im a member of the charolais association
What does everyone think of him? I really seen some nice calves out of him.. justin told me that he throws them thick and very hairy and then i asked the semen dealer and he said the exact same thing...so shouldnt he work well on charolais being out of lifeline which everyone has told me to use...
we havent bred her yet...we put a cidr in her tonite and our buddy said that his cows were coming into hear 36 hours after he had taken them out, so she should be in heat next weekend...im not really sure if i want to use tiger woods but thats what it will probably be...mayb someone can change...

yea here in indiana the weather changes day by day...i mowed the lawn last thursday and my dad just ended up mowing it again yesterday...we are suppose to get some rain again and if so im gonna have to mow the pasture cuz im sure it will be over a foot by then...its so tall now that i barely can...
has anyone else had hair like this out of wmw...is it hard to work with and train because i never have had hair like this before..im used to the hard keeping haired charolais
she had a heifer calf about 11:30 this afternoon...we ended up helping her out a little but once we got the head and legs out she was an easy pull...she weighs between 80-85...she was up within 45 mins after she was born and i just checked on her and shes nursing and doing great...ill get pics...
here is some updated pictures of the calf and his dam...he will be 2 months on the 14th..i believe were are going to breed the cow to Tiger Woods...i will start getting him halter broke at the end of this month and be selling him as soon as i can get him ready...let me know what you think of...
We are going to use RC Denver on my March heifer...he is a Three Trees Wind son and a good calving ease bull...I have seen heifers and a bull out of him that were very nice...He maybe one of the best in the breeds very soon
