Close up of HW calf

Trying to post a picture for the first time. 

She calved this afternoon. Water broke and she had a 107 pound bull calf within 35 minutes. Completly unassisted. Sometimes nature is the best.

I have a meyer 734 and she is 4 days late using a gestation of 283 days. In the past she has been 2 days early. Do the HW normally run late? Thanks

They tend to be on the smaller side. Our best calf last year was a Dr Who.

Any coments on the bull, what type of cows work the best? Does he clean up the neck? What about hair? Thanks

Pulled a backwards Heatwave calf 2 days ago and its tongue seems to be swollen.  I notice it when she was tring to suck on the back tits, which it can't suck on . Any ideas?  My guess is that it will go away after a week or so. Thanks for any imput.

Have 7 straws, thinking of using him on 2nd calf cows. What are some sizes of calves you have had out of Friction? Also, I have heard that they are late starters but come on strong at the end, any truth? Thanks

We feed HI Pro 290 with some added supplements, because its cheaper than Show Chow. In Janurary I paid $9.50/bag and just got back from the feed store and it was $10.99. How much our you paying for HI pro 290? Thanks, Steve

I have used 9 straws of Ali and have got 9 pregnancies. My heat watch system is my 11yr and 13 yr old kids. I breed on natural heats 12-14 hours after heat detect. My cows always have proper minerals and supplements. I still believe you can't always fool mother nature with CIDR's ,etc. Steve
