Guys I have a question?  What would you do with some cows with month old to week old cows?  Get them in a lot with a decent shelter out of a blizzard or leave them in a good stalk pasture to see how they fair? Its been sometime since they have called for a blizzard in the Panhandle.

We placed a steer at a major for the first time after 6 years of trying with our Shorthorn placed 7th.  It was nice to get it done.  Would love to do it again next year.

One of the steers we slicked got to much sun and is burned pretty bad.  Anyone have any suggestions on what to do for the poor guy?  His skin is really flaking now.  He will show nest Friday in Houston.

Is there another brand of this type of stuff.  I am having a hard time finding it in my area.

I think it is suppose to put a fill or make them look deeper bodied, similar to beet pulp or hay.  I saw some of it at a show it was sweet smellin stuff.  I thought cattle would really like it.

The cow is a maine angus charlios cross cow, that is black colored.  The bulls are a Lifeline son and a Strictly Bussiness son.

We have a nice calf that we don't know who the father of the calf is. Does anyone do DNA testing for cattle to find out who the father of a calf is?
