Found these tracks in our barn yard last week, within 40 yards of our house.  Calving start in a month and we are just hoping this cat was just passing through. 

I find it odd that some posts get moved to the classifieds section ("No Worries" @ Executive Sires) but yet other people can start posts about their upcoming bull sales and they don't get moved.

Seen this video on CNN of abuse taking place at a ranch in Texas, they are hitting calves over the head with hammers/pick axes.  Its very disturbing.  I live on a ranch and have all my life, we put animals down all the time when there is something wrong with them and its clear they are in pain...

Up here in Canada we have RFID tags and you have the chose to age verify your calves on the internet.  I use to be a really behind this b/c it was suppose to help get our cattle into extra markets over seas.  I still think that the RFID tags are a good thing just for the sake of point of orgin...
