Thanks guys, but we are not goin the on-line route just yet.  Just lookin for some smaller sales to get a pretty decent calf at a decent price. Found one this weekend in Frederick Md. the Jeff Miller real deal sale... might be able to get one.

I have a purebred shorthorn out of red vision.  I just weaned her. She is a twin but will be super nice.

we just got done with our fair and we have many uses for show supplies. we had a show foam fight, which made the barn look like it had snowed and dont be the the first one to fall asleep in the barn!! ;)

my dad had cattle and my friends wanted me to get some to show. so we started looking around and found this bred reg. heifer for $900. so we bought her and now she has a 1 year old bull and another on the way. (clapping) i "paid" for her by working harder and doing anything i could for my dad...

this is my first year showing but I've been around the whole thing for a while now and it really makes me mad when the parents buy the animal and do all the work the when the sale comes the kid gets to keep the money. It really makes me made when the kid steps into the ring and the steer...
