Hi Shortdawg,

I really do like the way Doc's calf looks, and was wondering if you might have a picture of the full sib to Doc's new calf that you own.

Thanks,
SJ

The two together are a Patty O' Malley (left) and a Heat Wave 1 (Right).  They are 3.5 and 2 weeks old.

The other is a Sin City at 3 weeks.

Finally got out to take some pictures. Not the best lighting.

First one is the Triple X steer
2nd a Currancy x Gold Club x Wild Rose
3rd a heifer out of Cherry Bomb x Iceman x Fearless. She has a hard time putting weight on her back leg. Was a hard pull
4th is the Hard Core heifer

Update on Murray grey/chi bull calf that was posted before all curled up and new... He was a little mad so he didn't cooperate too well! nOt probably as good as some of your guys but we are sure proud of him! The cell phone didnt do him justice.

Knabe, the first picture really shows him off. The second one doesn't do him justice. Was he a hard pull? Very nice calf & love the green grass!!!!

we pulled for like 3 or 4 squeezes and coaxed his head out by hand.  she was pretty tired, she was at it for about 45 minutes, the vet was finishing a call nearby and about to breed someones mare, so i said lets just pull him.  i alerted him as i wasn't home, but wife was and she panicked and said he was backwards, so i preinnoculated the vet with a phone call.

the first picture is a photoshop retouch of the other one, just for telos.

total package is not a club calf bull, so he doesn't have the perched pins or hair a mile long.  just for info, his momma is a polled homo black legacy plus daughter out of a flush full sis to backdraft.  she's PHAF.  i guess some don't like backdraft, but i think she's ok for what she is.

OHB, I need details about the heifer. She looks stout and monster topped in the pic. Is she going to profile ok? I don't know if it is good or bad but she looks alot like her brother as a calf. Congratulations as all thee calves look good but the heifer looks like a mating developed in the mind of a true cattle genius. ;D Keep me in the loop on your plans with her.

She is pretty stout for a 5 day old calf. She is pretty clean made all over. If everything stays the course I will keep you in the loop on her development.

An Ace in the Hole Calf I had today.  A 115 pound heifer out of this "low birth weight" bull.  I guess I can blame the heifer for at least half the genetics.  The heifer that had her is out of Pale Face.

Red, All your calves look great but I'm proud at how that Triple X calf is coming on. ZNT has brought some really good ones in from Nebraska. Can't wait to see them.

...Everyone has really awesome calves. STEER PLANET BREEDERS... GREAT CALF CROP! I'll take all of them.

Just started calving March 1.  Thought I better share too lol.

First calf is Betty Lou.....She's a Major's Money Man out of a Witch Dr. cow (2nd calf heifer)  weighed 78 pounds.  I think she's a week old here
2nd Calf is a Boom Box heifer (a money man son) out of a basic maine heifer...weighed 75  about a week old in picture.

I have more but as you can see, its pretty muddy and it was hard to get them to stand in the ruts and mud.
