i saw this and thought it was pretty funny

It's not "murder", it's "unplanned-pro-non-living-metamorphisis".

You're not "sleepy", you're just "anti-chronic-consciousness".

You don't believe in God, you're just "inwardly-athiest-phobic".

You don't "love" your wife. You just hate all other women.

awesome

i know no one reads this section, but this was incredible

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/01/22/BUTEUJN7I.DTL&tsp=1

In the Bay Area, foreclosures rose an equally stunning 482.5 percent to 4,573 in the fourth quarter, compared with 785 a year ago.

in my town, 5 FULL pages were devoted to foreclusures.  popn almost 40k.  one foreclosure takes up about 30 square inches.

are you sure you want the dems as president to bail these folks out who put ZERO DOWN and NEVER made an equity payment?  i guess bush wants to do the same thing.

see?  no difference.

if you don't think the west is under threat, check this out.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/education/7204635.stm

it's simple, islam wins.

schools in america are teaching moral relativism which means the west must give up it's culture as it's too offensive to other's culture.

why bother standing up for america, it's so over, just let the politicians do it.  oh, it WAS the politicians.

thought i'd never say this, but i'm voting for romney

the democrats are socialists,
911 couldn't figure out kerik was a crook and he works for the saudis or whoever
huckabee won't get support from non-evangelicals, it's the lowest by the way of the repubs and i just don't trust him for some reason
mccain is a democrat pure and simple and hates american identity.
ron paul, on economics is closest to me, but some stuff is too goofy.  he actually recognizes prioritizing problems

here's an interesting article about some black men in wwii lynching an italian.

http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5glxKOsIPRQbx8VZXNlV3TfkDM2ow

notice in the article there is no denying the lynching did not occur and indeed a quote

“It was just an incident that happened to him and he desperately wanted to move on with his life,” said Lashell Drake, Townsell’s granddaughter.

well, blow me down, blacks need to "move on" if they lynched, but anyone, especially whites, and white males making cracks about lynching is a hate crime, and worthy of being beaten up and having jesse jackson and al sharpton  badger the press that we need to release the jenna 6 for some reason.

what a joke. to quote a famous black civil rights phrase  No justice no peace!

How does setting aside a conviction make one a hero.

perhaps ron goldman should mow oj simpsons lawn for life.

so after everyone is dead, give the man a fair trial, and then honor him.  maybe canada should turn this into a national holiday

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/jamieson/337076_robert27.html
"You don't usually have this clear a victory when dealing with the bureaucracy,"
this was not clear, it was just politically correct.

there must be more to this story, as usual.

"In this case, the Army didn't act bureaucratically -- they realized fair is fair."

About time.

what does that mean?  whitey gets it?  they are more concerned about this injustice than the injustice to the italian soldier.  fair is fair?  he's dead and the other guy gets his medals and was able to live his life?

obviously more to the story.

here's another

http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Top_News/2008/01/24/la_teen_faces_federal_charges_for_nooses/6597/
Burning the American flag is free speech, but holding a noose is a criminal act,

the guy drove by jena 6 protesters protesting being able to beat up white people and to set them free.
Blacks show up en-masse and march in an effort to intimidate whites into letting 6 criminals off and it is a protest.

Whites show marching blacks rope tied into nooses in an effort to run the blacks noses in their stupidity and it is a hate crime.

War is Peace
Pain is Pleasure

Conformance is Freedom

america is so over.

i predict obama will be the next president.

no one can defeat this rhetoric

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080130/D8UGERC80.html

"If you choose change, you will have a nominee who doesn't just tell people what they want to hear"

i'm thinking the reason he is so popular is because he is telling people what they want to hear.

populism seems to be gaining strength.  capitalism is withering on the vine.  goodbye.

I don't spend a lot of time on politicians - it doesn't pay to encourage them IMHO

However I always tend to side with the underdog, and have been amazed just how much Ron Paul has been ingored

I'd vote for him, if only because he has stayed married to the same person for 51 years (today is their anniversary I think)

(and that he would withdraw US troops from around the planet and try to fix US problems first  ;D )

Peace

Jack

drug testing for candidates

http://www.wltx.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=58056

hmmm.  congress is notorious for few restrictions on requirements to hold office.

i'm pretty sure that the number of congress people is shocking that could not otherwise qualify for a security clearance, but because they are elected officials, they are given a pass

http://www.sheldoncohen.com/publications/loss_of_clearance.htm

i could be wrong, but i think congress is exempt from this law,  typical.

i'm embarrassed this happened where i work, but then, it's stanford, in spite of the hoover institute

“You don’t want to lose the focus of the conference by inviting a controversial and distracting speaker with, frankly, little authority or formal education and significant work in the area,” Hassan argued.

if this is the voice of DIVERSITY, we are doomed.  this is simply dhimmitude (submission) to islam.

american's no longer have a right to be offended.

moving the line is moving the line.  so weak, so ignorant, so busy with consumerism.  ashamed.

In fact, it was the regulators who relaxed these standards - at the behest of community groups and "progressive" political forces.

Some of these "outdated" criteria included the size of the mortgage payment relative to income, credit history, savings history and income verification. Instead, the Boston Fed ruled that participation in a credit-counseling program should be taken as evidence of an applicant's ability to manage debt.

america owe's everyone a house.  even if they earn minimum wage.

i purchased my first house at age 40.  i saw nothing wrong with renting.  didn't feel scapegoated, discriminated against, nothing.  saved and saved and saved.

the market is correcting itself from this stupidity.

here's another doosy.

http://online.wsj.com/article_email/SB120209323873439851-lMyQjAxMDI4MDAyNDAwOTQzWj.html

hmmm, i wonder, is our immigration policy racially biased towards mexicans?

with 5 billion people in the world, why do we have prejudice by promimity.

we need more diversity.

mexico has such a low percentage of the worlds population (less than 2.5%), but they have 60% of the immigrants.  somthing is wrong with this picture.  sounds like racism to me.

No big shocker, but Hilary won the Democratic Primary Election here yesterday. Huckabee won the Republican Primary. Nationwide, it's lookin' like McCain, ahead of Hilary and Obama combined.

Crazy isn't it.

Do you guys think that if Hillary gets the nomination from the dems, she can pull it off.  I just have to think that no matter how hard core some of those dems are they WILL NOT vote for a woman.  What do you all think?
