All I can do is pray that America has enough sense to not vote for her. Shes already been president once and that wasn't exactly pretty.

i'm not really seeing the difference between mccain and hillary.  not sure mccain ever felt the handshake of someone reaching across the aisle from a democrat.  he's a democrat.  he's down to a 67% "conservative" record in the last few years.

if you look at obama's staff and their views on israel, it's reallllly scary.

I am not for McCain, but

Clinton is for increased taxes, McCain is against them
McCain would keep the Bush Tax cuts, Clinton would keep them
McCain is against Islamic terrorism, Hillary is not
McCain is for privatized health care, Hillary is for Government mandated health care
McCain is for school choice, Hillary is against school choice
You see Hillary thinks we are all so stupid that we need the government to tell us what to do.

But I would like to emphasize I am not for McCain, I am just against Hillary.

mccain was against the bush tax cuts,  The same ones he strongly opposed, voted against, and called tax cuts for the rich.
mccain is against quantonamo
mccain is for global warming kyoto which leaves out china and other develooping countries (america second)
mccain is FOR more privatized health care, just not universal
mccain is for less free speech (mccain feingold)
mccain is for open borders after we seal it
mccain is on the council of foreign relations (unification of canada, us, mexico)
mccain is for the i 35 corridor
mccain is against school choice as he supports no child left behind
mccain is for amnesty, just like hillary, mccain kennedy  where ever their is a mexican, there is mexico, he hired juan hernandez.

to me, mccain is for america second, everyone else first.

america has had very few choices ever since the primary system was invented to appear as choice but always protected by delegates.

on the other hand, the constitution was set up with super delegates as well, white males with property.

the two party system is not in the constitution, neither is the primary system.

this is why politics is local (though not much longer), and why the constitution was set up to keep power divided.  the two party system essentially obliterated this.

a real maverick was andrew jackson, the only president to retire from office with the country in the black.  he of course had his faults, and myself included can't see past some people for their faults.  chambero is much better at this than i ever will be.  i'm too much of a stick in the mud.

sharia law unavoidable in england.  america next

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7232661.stm

Muslims should not have to choose between "the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty".

no law is legal.  what a joke.  murder should be legal.  in many countries it is.  they call it dictatorship.

where is gloria steinem, oprah, hillary, jane fonda, maria shriver.

what a joke.  in america, when you become a citizen, you make an allegiance to this country in an oath.  can't take the oath?  bingo, you are not a citizen.

but but but that's discrimination.  you bet it is.  the best kind.

this is why we have different countries.  this is the folly of a one world government.  with a one world government, there is no morality.  it's a free for all.

no school will teach this, it's discriminatory.

Amen. Id still like to see Huckabee. I hate to say it but I would have rather seen Edwards get in than hillary.

which candidate was/is for job creation in the private sector without subsidies (and thus choose technologies not based on free market) and reduction of regulation to encourage business to locate in the US, supports basic research, supports streamlined efficient transactions without preference for religion, and has a plan to enforce the law.

the rest of the stuff doesn't really matter to me

To me the #1 issue is islamic terrorism.  Yes, I would like to find someone who is for closing the borders and kicking the illegals out, for the fair tax, for school choice, drill in Alaska for Oil, for reducing goverment, etc, but there isn't one.  I do think McCain has the best policies about islamic terrorism.  Yeah he wants to shut down gitmo, thinks golbal warming is an issue we can control, and voted against the bush cuts, etc, but its better then the alternative.  Did you know that if Hillary can get her health plan passed, she would garnish your wages and force you to buy the health care even if you didn't want to?  That is NUTS!

freedom is progressive

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/02/07/witaly107.xml

His lawyers argued, however, that there was a "deep tenderness" between him and the girl and that he had "fallen head over heels in love" after a sexual encounter in his car. They said the girl had consented to every action.

The court in Vicenza accepted their opinion and sentenced de Pascale to only one year and four months in jail out of a possible 12-year term.

Because of a general amnesty for anyone who receives a sentence of less than three years, de Pascale is unlikely to serve any prison time for his Lolita-esque romance.

men, protect your daughters from this nonsense and teach your sons that this is not acceptable.

george lakoff, who teaches at berkeley, with his logic, is for this.  freedom is progressive, the line is always moving, it is not static for them as they erode social norms.

"I was boasting about Riyadh, telling him it doesn't deserve its bad reputation," she said. "I told him I never experienced any harassment. I'd had no trouble as a woman. It was business as usual."

But on Monday, Yara learned that she had been wrong. She was thrown in jail, strip-searched, threatened and forced to sign false confessions by the kingdom's "Mutaween" police.

"When I was arrested, it was like going through an avalanche," she said. "All of my beliefs were completely destroyed."

america's religion of peace, the code pink group are ATTACKING people who are protesting the city of berkeley's stance on marine recruiting.
code pinkers are hitting people over the head with signs.  their permit ran out.  they are not for free speech.
code pinks true colors are revealed.  they are for VIOLENCE.

code pink is the religion of HATE, add in race based pressure groups (with federal and corporate sponsorship), PETA.

america is so united.  we just need change so much, as long as it tilts totally and completely to the left.

both sides do not comprehend the concept of balance.  so shameful.

I agree with you Knabe, the govt has no idea what balance is. They are all to one side or the other. I feel that the majority of the population is in the middle but have no good options to lead us towards the middle.

MASSIVE protests going on right now!  totally awesome.  good display of a united america.  i don't think obama can unite these groups.  we just need change, it will solve everything.

and harry read stopping with procedure, a bill to pull funding from berkeley.

more input from foreign sources

ron paul and obama taking money from syria

i can only surmise both these guys are for the destruction of israel

i'm questioning the allegiance of people who hire staff that have dual citizensip (juan hernandez for mccain) and those who take money from syria and george soros (clinton, mccain, obama)

there is no conservative choice in the election

we have far left (obama) center left (clinton, still a socialist) and left of center mccain who refuses to cross the aisle to conservatives on campaign finance, immigration, and free speech.

americans have no representation in this election.

america is dead, and now we are outrepresented in the election as well

where's campaign finance reform when you need it.

now that obama conveniently has enough money, he can easily jettison the money from the real estate dude.  if he had any integrity, he would have returned it before.  he's just like the rest, no change at all, still same as it ever was.
