Well, if you have the time and $$$ to raise and perfect grass~fed genetics that actually do decently on grass, then I think you ought to go for it. However, grass genetics are just like breeding for show or grain fed genetics. They require different things to make them go, and I think that "organic" raising of meat, eggs, and milk simply wouldn't go on a large scale because we have perfected making animals that grow fast and put out as much product as possible. That's what is needed to feed and help grow such a huge country. Well, that's my little 2 cents worth. Sorry for taking so much room.
