with the administration and republicans unable to agree on anything to stimulate job creation what would you do?

for me, phase out subsidies, tax breaks and safety nets for all at the federal level. since the federal government skims 10-30% for infrastructure just to maintain any program in addition to the state infrastructure, i would start there. i would also phase in a form of the flat tax and eliminate capital gains as well as corporate tax. this would have several effects. first and most clearly, dismantle most of the IRS, some accounting compliance infrastructure, provide more stability to the tax system and free up massive amounts of capital that could be deployed at the whim of individuals like buying show cattle and show supplies.
here's a different take on how much tax people are paying. though not necessarily accurate, it at least identifies siphons of your earned dollar.
