Victory over those who disbelieve  translation:  islamic victory over non-believers, YOU

Protection from the great Satan  translation :  the west.

your politicians are facilitating these guys spreading their dhimmitude (submission to islam)

in my book, this is treason, not free speech.

there is NO part of islam that does not agree with this that i have seen.

this is how stereotypes get started, with a veiled threat that must be treated with moral relativity so we don't offend anyone and keep immigrating a society with decided overtones of eliminating us.  that is not diversity, that is annihalation.  yet the schools and legislatures can't get enough of this, especially in CA, sawboss.

again, this is NOT RACISM.  protecting one's self from elimination is not racism.  no bibles are ALLOWED in saudi arabia and some other muslim countries (not all, in fact, a christian church was erected in iraq recently with help from muslims)  non-muslims are warned with road signs, they can not procede to witness the haj, a meteorite at the ka'bah.  yet we have to tolerate intolerance?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

knabe,

seems you don't like much about California.  why stay?

i didn't like living in the big cities; so, i quit my job with the huge accounting firm and i moved back to my home town.

i'm sure you could find another government funded research job.  i understand that a good bit of genome research is being done at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Oklahoma City.

this so far is my only government job.  the reason i took this job was to put cDNA's in the public sector.  the company i came from, as well as a few others were racing to blanket the utility patent landscape with "intellectual property" that they didn't have to rationalize ANY use for.  they even "patented" the ones that were partial transcripts and could keep refiling for almost nothing.  very time consuming, especially for lawyers, who needed a job.  the turnover in that department was the worst i've ever seen in my life!  most of these cDNA's, especially the low expressing one's were in private hands.  an opportunity came up, ie this job, where i could participate in a project to put these in a collection available to everyone so progress could be made faster.  this is almost over and i will be getting a new job at some point.  the reason i don't leave california is because i don't believe in giving up what one believes in, and some things are worth fighting for and CA is the belly of the beast.  basically, conservatives are leaving the state, essentially ceding the state to illegals and communism.  if we don't stop it, it's coming to your town next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  i don't want to see oklahoma have a bunch of escalade drivin enviro whacko driving up the real estate prices in your parts.  rather keep them in their own little echo chamber so they don't ruin the rest of the country.

i have considered moving back to oklahoma, as that's where my relatives are.  osu does some interesting research as well.  speaking of OK, has anyone got hurried along looking at the transcontinental pipeline?  my cousin's husband took me there and we got scouted.

if i went to OK, i would probably be railing against the chinese highway from mexico to canada to bypass the longshoreman union, which is what the council on foreign relations is all about, whacking unions so we can compete with slave labor.  illegal labor just doesn't cut it enough.

knabe, please keep doing your part to "save" CA.  Those of us here in the heartland need you coasters to fight the good fight so we can stay under the radar and live the simple life.

Wow, that sounds really stupid, it's gotta be campaign time.  I guess my mind is just cluttered by all the bs bantering in the air!!!!

california question.....if a town/burg/township/ what ever...... can ban smoking cigaretts outside in the "city limits"....could they actually use the communistic, local legislation to say.....ban cars not running on alt fuel as well, in the same geographic area  ?????......they are just starting to get the no resturant/bar smoking stuff in ohio....and fl has had it for some time.....but the right to deny the use of a government taxed drug in public.....is more amazing to me as a yankee as the astronomical realestate and cost of living situations you have........are to others......i am a smoker and i find it repulsive that a government can issue cigarettes to gi's  in the 40/70's in every war and sell and tax them after the nations is addicted....then try to regulate  where i can use it.....a desiganatted smoking area in any envoriment is like haveing a desigignated peeing area in the pool.....jbarsmokestack

there is more than one town where it is illegal to smoke INDOORS in you own house if it's like a condo or attached.

think about it. every time a californian comes to your town they want to change it, to be just like where they came from, except you have to pay for it.

you have to understand that the government is now almost 50% of the jobs in the US.

does anyone know if there are more ag government jobs (including educators) than there are ag jobs? of course one could fudge this a litte and pretend scottie pippen and all his friends on long island are farmers (where most of the farm subsidies go), so of course stats can lie, but i bet it's pretty close.

i guess if i work on poplar (sequencing it) i count as an "ag" employee.

if you do nothing, government will only get bigger.  even if you do something, it will get bigger, it has more inertia, which ben franklin warned against, it also outlives those who would seek to limit it, also detailed by franklin.

of course he was just stupid racist xenophobe who knew nothing and invented nothing because it was invented previously by other cultures.

here's an interesting nexus of illegal alien activity.  getting insufficient coverage in the bay area.

http://www.nbc11.com/news/15120478/detail.html?rss=bay&psp=news

7 IED’s (Improvised Explosive Device) were purchased. Several of the bombs were designed to detonate by means of cell phone transmission.

74 Firearms were purchased. The weapons include 21 assault weapons banned in California, 4 firearms reported stolen, 2 fully automatic weapons, 2 sawed off shotguns and 8 firearms with damaged or removed serial numbers.

40 stolen vehicles were purchased. The vehicles include a BMW, Porsche Carrera, Nissan 350Z, Audi, Toyota MR2, SUV’s, sedans, motorcycles and a new Ford Edge SUV. (25 different suspects)

14 tons (28,000 lbs) of copper was purchased since April 2007, approximate street value of $96,000

notice the basically virgin state of the copper.

thieves rip off the copper out of new homes, take old windows (for the aluminum)

pretty  awwesome video story detailing that only 2 out of 300 people visiting the recycling center were for legitimate reasons.

with no respect for the law, is it any wonder no other law is obeyed?

to paraphrase an earlier comment, if the majority votes for it, then i t must be right.
this is the danger the founding fathers foresaw when they came up with the great comprimise, actually madison did in a letter to washington to convene the constitutional convention.

the silent majority is no longer a majority, as their kids were taken in the populated states, ie CA, NY, notice that almost all kids are socialists in these areas.  listen to them on the buses and trains, it's disgusting.  glad it's still different in the heartland.

franklin advocated no salary for public servants in the senate, house, judciary, executive office, as he saw the incremental danger of rewarding themselves without input from the public.  some even wanted represetation only elected from the body and never the public after the first body was elected, as then, only property owners could run.  this did not happen.

it's amazing to me that the people who came up with the constitution, were basically a bunch of kids (25-35) with a few elders, ie franklin, adams, washington.  they all participated in government for a while, and most died broke, including jefferson, the ultimate thieve of the public dollar to finance his extravagence.

mccain supposedly just hired this guy.

he says there was NO identity theft.  he has DUAL citizenship.  He's NOT an american in my book and needs to be deported until he declares allegiance to america, not mexico.

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/01/25/dr-juan-hernandez-has-joined-the-mccain-campaign/

when are legal american citizens going to march?

have a heart for these people.  let's change the laws so america disappears.  change is good.  what a joke.  deport him.

why should there be NO pressure on mexico to open up their own economy to their own citizens?  mexicans are racist against themselves!

notice he says

“I want the third generation, the seventh generation, I want them all to think ‘Mexico first.’”  if this isn't racist, i don't know what is.  mccain should be sent to mexico along with him.  this is an outrage.

Dr. Juan Hernandez, McCain Hispanic outreach director: “We must not only have a free flow of goods and services, but also start working for a free flow of people.”

mccain, a free flow of people.  how much is too much?  infinity.  the truth, america is gone.  why did we even bother.  and this living fertilizer is getting 30% of the vote in republican primaries, of course independents and democrats are voting in them when allowed.

what is so heroic about mccains military history other than being a POW.  he graduated 5th from the bottom of his class and had a lackluster record in the air and landing and destroying planes.

and here's the best program i've seen on illegal immigration

We can solve illegal immigration if we do the following:
1. Provide employers with an instant method to verify the legal status of applicants.
2. Offer a $10,000 reward to the first illegal alien who turns in his boss (fine the boss $15,000 to pay for it and finance the system). All other illegals who work there become unemployed. The snitch would move to the front of the line to get a green card.
3. Tattoo the back of the right hand of all illegals caught with the letters IA for Illegal Alien, regardless of where they are caught (at the boarder, at work etc.)
4. Require proof of citizenship to rent or buy housing.

And last but not least: Deport every ACLU lawyer.

rule number 3 is stupid, by the way.

i just called mccain's campaign office about the quotes from juan.  they said they would get back to me.  hmmmmm.

guesses on response from them

we need diversity
these are god's children
we need to change the law

basically anything other than enforcing the law and codifying the 14th amendment, again, which was for slaves, not border crossers either legal or illegal for that matter.  citizenship is a priveledge, not a right.

He won't be given his Citizenship "Free-gratis", either. He can only be termed ''employee'' during active military service. Sure, knabe( sorry, forgot to capitalize, darn public schools), his army resume will help him get his foot in the door. Actually, Knabe, when He eventually gets his Citizenship, his Family won't "instantly" become citizens. Relax, Man. Seriously,They will qualify first for work visas, then, ultimately, a "Resident Alien" ( persons of this category can do everything legally here,  except own a gun and Vote)status, known as "green card''-- they literally used to be green.

The only way that memebers of his immediate family can become Citizens, is if they Take the Class ( and Pass it. Without English proficiency? Not a chance), then apply. If they pass the screening process (criminal and financial background check), They become Citizens ONLY when THEY THEMSELVES step up and take the initiative on their own, after meeting the requirements, Take the Oath of Allegiance.

There is no Conspiracy out here.

GB

The immediate family has been here sponging on tax payers since he was 13 months old, how exactly do you think this is a good thing??  That means for at least 18 years you have been paying for his education at the very least, you are condoning this?
Sponging???? ??? ??? sales taxes are collected every time they buy something. Witholdings are taken out of His parents' paychecks. They don't get anything back, either. Can't say that about every Illegal Alien, and, Shortdawg and I only want you guys to be more objective about your statemants. Also, Ma'am, we'd also ask you to be FIRST in line at Tyson, or Excel, or, Seaboard, to apply for "Line Work" in a Slaughter Plant (wages won't automatically increase to YOUR idealized level of "living wage") when You guys get your wish for Massive Deportations, and then, the Construction Biz folds and you need a "Town Job". Can you really handle pulling guts out of Chickens 35 of 'em per minute?

Don't get me started on the "Tax" thing, either. You said yourself, you buy Farm and Constructon Equipment every December, in oder to INTENTIONALLY avoid your $$Liability$$.
At first Y'all said 12 Million. Now, the Number has grown to 20 Million. Show me the Numbers.

there are lawsuits afoot to get the contributions back from social security.

i agree with your comments GB

the BIG one for me, is illegals registered to vote and we can't find out becuase an extremely small minority of people might be inconvenienced to come up with id.  in EVERY study so far with id voting, voting has actually INCREASED, rather than decreased, so actually more democracy is happening, rather than less.

every time one investigates the facts, the number of illegals is underestimated.  this still doesn't mean anyone is anti anything except anti breaking the law.

i can pull the guts out of chickens at a rate of about 10 a minute, not including scraping.  i could probably go faster if i don't have to scrape.

i say the number is 50 million, including visa overstays etc, ie those other than hispanics.

right now, we are deporting 6500 vietnamese that have been here for years.

the notion that there will be an effect that no one can afford is bogus as the "free market" allows adjustment for a fair price.  the price of inflation has been hidden from americans in the form of subsidized everything.  this will unravel at some point, prices adjusted approrpriately, and everyone will get by.

the scare tactics of what are we going to do without mexicans is a red herring.  perhaps one could ask "what would the world do without america?"

perhaps mexicans should ask this as well.

if you don't have racism, the question needs to be asked both ways, otherwise it is RACIST

show me the numbers
according to john mccain, 4 million crossed in 2002, of course there were some that crossed probably multiple times, but most of this occurred during BUSH the idiot's term.

why should ANY cross illegaly.

like i think jill said, it is the same as them coming into your house.

i think mexico is around 120 million, even if it's 10 million, that's 10% of the population and we have some one working for mccain, where ever a mexcian is there is mexico (instead of america)  that to me is treason.

I'm not sure where you get your information, but I NEVER said I buy anyting in December in order to INTENTIONALLY avoid  my liability, I expect an apology for that, you are way out of line!

Witholdings are taken out of His parents' paychecks??-I would like to know how they are taking withholdings out of a paycheck on an illegal immigrant unless they have a falsified document.

i'm kinda lost here, tax liability?

one should avoid taxes at all legal opportunities.  they slow down the economy.  they should be whittled down to what's in the constitution.

just think, no federal department of education, i think started under carter.

we could get rid of the surgeon general

we could get rid of lots of stuff

And that's a good question for another thread, what exactly is the purpose of the Surgeon General other than to put warnings on cirgarettes?

the fda could do that.  we still don't need him other than to imprint a funky looking beard and spawn a webmd website on 15 minutes of fame

and just for fun, does diane sawyer have the most annoying forehead wrinkles when she brings the bad news every night

i've never seen a more negative person since cronkite

here's some FACTS you were looking for GB

staggering, simply staggering.

where will all the water come from.  all the waste.  all the food. all the education dollars.  all the money from them voting for benefits (i'm betting 90% register as democrat and work for republicans while americans waste away their inheritance from their parents because they have no job.)

oops lost the link.  basically shows chain migration over 20 years of upwards of 60 million people.  facts are from the government itself.  i'll try and refind it.

here's a link broken down by country.

http://www.fairus.org/site/PageServer?pagename=iic_immigrationissuecentersb8ca

here's one from the heritage foundation

http://www.heritage.org/Research/Immigration/wm1076.cfm

100 million.  it's not enough, more more more more, where will we plant all the lettuce to pick, raise all the chickens to gut.

i'm just SURE this new 1/3 of the total US population just so understands rule of law.
