anybody with a feb.-march steer near here. Not looking for the next major winner but something to have fun with and a little quality. Paying between 400 and 800 for a calf and Halter broke . Thanx

I wouldn't pay that for one, but I sure wouldn't loose any sleep over selling for that, it's not inflated it's called selling a product for what the market will allow. I remember when 10k for a heifer was an unbelievable amount of money to pay for a top Maine heifer at auction, you can't hardly touch one for that today.red said:SJock- you mean you wouldn't pay 30K for a steer? :
