Surely you arent going to judge and belittle me because of MY choice and MY opinion.  I am entitled to my own $0.02, as is everybody else.  You dont have to AGREE, but you also don't have to ridicule.

Maybe the Cornhuskers can donate the proceeds of one football game to the chilren. I was always a little surprised how liberal the state of nebraska is. I know their property taxes are high compared to say Kansas anyway.

“It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.”

with logic like that, logically, revolution is the only option.  i guess that leaves open the president to appeal the subsection, which would be akin to a king.  hmm, maybe obama could be elected as king, register illegals as democrats with amnesty, and destroy america and liberty without a shot.

Everyone should be allowed to have their opinion like everyone should be allowed to keep what they earn.

When your opinion is that you should be allowed to take money from other people because your representative sold his vote it's gone past the point of everyone else sitting back and watching you people destroy this country with your own short sighted greed.

[/quoteStill mad over the end of the cornhusker season, eh..  heh heh.  And the job our coach who YOU NAME CALLED Pologna did .  Surprised that our state is more liberal than thought, or than the states around us?  Let's see.  Kansas, the mother who bore the annointed one as fox news calls him, Iowa, state that started ball rolling for obama in primary, same sex marriage, Colofornia, well no need.

Nelson got a provision FOREVER.  Governors of other states are worried about the extra costs of Medicaid but Nelson doesn't have to worry about that because those states that already have to pay for their own expanded Medicaid will now pay for Nebraska's as well.

Excusing what Nelson has done is excusing corruption.

For the situation to reverse there are two laws that need to be passed and most likely never will.
1.  Term Limits ( Congress wll never pass because they lose their careers)  Their sole focus is re-election and layering bills with pork for their states and districts helps their re-election efforts)
2.  Line item veto ( Congress won't pass because it limits the pork, many past presidents say they want line-item veto but I doubt their sincereity.  If they had it they would become fiscally responsible for their budget.  Under present circumstances they can always blame congress for the deficit and the pork.)

If I thought I could change anything I would run for Congress but I think I would find it too frustrating.  I would want to revert the 1700-1800's.  Pistols at 20 paces and we will solve half the problem

Who cares what party they are?

Are you saying it's okay because they are all crooks?  If not, what's the point of bringing that up?

Do you not remember how totally ridiculous the Dems. looked in Washington when Bush was in Office? It's amazing the the majority of Americans don't want Obamacare, But Washington wants it for us.I guess they know best? Can you say 10% Unemployment?  Hit spell ckeck every once in a while.

kids are told the story of scrooge and this is where they learn jealousy, class warfare and voting themselves' other people's money because people just can't be counted on to redistribute it themselves to where they think it should go.

I can't decide where I'd rather be from. A state where Nelson tried the cornhusker kick back n failed. ,one that's mother is from that bore the anointed one that can't pay there own people back there state taxes . Or from the liberal state of pelosi, I think ill take the cornhuskers.

box, what box?

the sad truth of the matter is that republicans elected tom delay as leader, dick armey as whip and a few others.  also, the party has too many hurdles to root out entrenched payoff procedures, same as the democrats.

the american public simply has lost site of the fact of what commerce is.  everything and i mean everything, is owed to them, and depending upon what one's demography is, even more.  it's an endless supply of trump cards where victimhood matters far more than principle.
