This there any PB simmental bulls out there that will clean up a front end and not loss any depth of rib.  We have a  PB heifer that is a Trademark.  Don't wanta loss any depth of rib, but needs to clean up front end and maybe a little less shoulders.

Beet Pulp and lots and lots of hay

We use it on top of mulch too.  We have tried to use it alone and it doesnt work well.  It will not pack down.  On top of mulch is better.  Only reason we use it is because we can spread it thru the manure spreading on fields.

We not done any comparisons on conception, but it has to help.  Some of these cows that are breed for hair just dont shead well.  It was to help.  We don't always clip the cows, but its just because we don't take the time.  We're too busy with the heifers.  I bet if you try clipping it will...
