Best, Safest Way To Terminate Pregnancy?

Had the same problem with a neighbors corriente (roping bull). The sob stuck his horns in the wire and twisted, tore up the whole fence. After a month of the bs, and owner denying it, we loaded the bil into a corral, told him to get him and move him to another pasture. The fees for abortion...

    Sore feet in market steer....

I went and checked out the steer that we sold. Have been keeping tabs on him and his progress, advising when asked. But, hes got a problem. He is ouchy in his feet. He gets up travels the pasture, gets cocky, but is definitely ouchy. He also had a but of selling in the left rear cannon. He has...

    Heifer throws head---maybe halter problem?

I would ditch the halter with the chain. They aren't very nice halters to use on young ones just learning. You want them to like you and trust you, not be scared of you and every time you pull on her or touch her she gets hurt. Even if not intentional, it's still hurting her. Use a rope halter...

    Snake Bites?

Snake bite is huge swelling, puncture holes, and drainage. Last summer we had a young weaning heifer get bit, and it was bad. Ended up messing up her hoof from the sloughing of hide and extreme swelling. Lots of antibiotics in her, and lots of drainage.

    Check our Mkt. Heifer progress

Shes a great looking heifer! So in roughly 20 days she gained nearly 100lbs? Or was it a bit longer? What is she being feed?

    injured steer

I too would have him out of the cooler no matter how hot. Do you sacrifice hair for a lame calf? Turn him out around 8pm, till 6or 7am. Hes needs to move. He is getting stiff from lack of movement, and that's going to bite you hard, worse than any lack of hair.

Is a grain fed bull worth it out on pasture?

My thought is, if you can't run a bull with cows on minimal feed, is he really worth it? Going to a bull sale, a cow sale, a clubby sale, with the amount of grains and additives pumped into them, its not a true representation of the animal.  The bulls fall apart, and can't handle themselves nor...
