    ivermec

I have always been told if you give ivermec orally it will mess up the lining of their stomach/rumen. As far as using out of date wormer I use it and have never had a problem. If your wanting to give your animal an oral wormer give it safeguard or something along that line.

    calf won't eat

Try mixing in about a 1 scoop to 1 1/2 scoops of winning fill in with his feed. We tried winning fill this year and before the steer was decent eater but after we mixed in a little winning fill he ate like it was his last meal.

Castrated calf and his hock is now swollen

Might try putting some DMSO on a bandage and let the DMSO completely soak the bandage and then lightly wrap it around the hock this should help bring down the swelling be sure and check it every so often to make sure it hasn't fallen off or that it isn't to tight , and i would also give some...
