I had heard somewhere from someone that if you feed cooked corn to weaned calves (like 4 to 5 months old) they unlocked the protein a lot easier. We feed cooked corn to our fat steers, but I was wondering if feeding the corn to calves would work well.

We are planning to show him as a bull through early fall, cut him, and show him as a steer next summer.

Melatonin will take down his attitude. Don't use it for extended periods of time as he will build a resistance to it and it won't do anything.
