These heifers were off of cows that had a lot of Belmore Jackaroo and CP Grissom both good lines with average bw. Feed was average quality hay with no grain supplemented the C-section was just a big calf for a heifer ai on july 13 calved april 22 so calved right on the dates.

Lost a cow once saw her calf in the field and looked 20 minutes later and four feet in the air dead as a nit. We had BSE surveillance at the time so I phoned the vet and she came out and said she choked on placenta for sure as it was packed in the cows throat tight.

I am in market for a new trailer also,right now I have a 14 ft bumper pull and want to update to a gooseneck can I get a gooseneck to fit in a 1500 dodge with a 6ft box? Some say it will fit and some say no.

The first bull I used to ai my PB shorthorns to was Winalot Kannon from Rolly . Was a pic of the bull on Alta beef sires under the shorthorn sires. He was a roan, good for heifers with some performance at that time.
