    not so sure about that mooch, my cousin has been showing dairy heifers for years and tells me that clones have been shown at the World Dairy Expo for years and that show gets bigger every year.  Its no big deal to them. tj

    I can't help but speak up here...aren't most of the successful show steers and many heifers produced from semen out of cloned bulls?  I imagine if we figured it out about 90% of you are showing an animal that benefited from clonning technology somewhere in the past.  I for one want to have this...

    Gus is right, I had that very thing happen.  Made a mummy and could not get it out of the cow.  Ended up culling her when all I wanted to do was get rid of the pregnancy.....big mistake.

    What is the highest priced beef semen out there?  I recently heard of a bucking bull unit of semen that sold for $20,000....is that possible?  For one straw?  How could you afford to use that in A.I.? TJ

    Age of semen tanks

    R there any early signs that a tank is going to fail?  I have heard they will get frost around the neck a day or so before failing completely.  At least you could try to move the semen to another tank....
