she probaly has an I.Q. that is coincidentally the same as her age.

this statement is really unsupportable on just about any level.

i'll at least equate it to the same level as me calling obama a jerk for a specific policy, instead of commenting on the policy itself.

. Tax policy affects business decissions. I think Obama is bad for business. Capitalization is based on businesses. The thing that scares the hell out of me is the free health care. I think this will bring us down. We have just given our childrens future away to the current population. There will be nothing left for the future generation. jmo

how can you ever put a capatilistic type approach on... cancer...or diabieties....or congestive heart diease.....or lukiema....just how many pieces of the capatilistic pie is there to death and sickenss ??.......what could be more important to our kids future than there parents/ grandparnets health and there property ??   ........jbarl

jbarl,  bout time you piped up.  i'm thinking capitalism has done more for cancer, diabetes, heart disease, lukemia etc than ANY socialism whatever.  i can tell you right now i would not be working where i'm at if it weren't for money, interest, etc.  i would have no way to buy and sell cows if it weren't for capitalism.

seriously, just what has socialism wrought?  compare and contrast a list versus capitalism instead of cherry picking.

socialism is incompatible with property rights.  it's right there in the manifesto!

this is pretty funny.

http://www.weaselzippers.net/blog/2009/06/european-socialists-considering-changing-their-name-to-democrats.html

Some socialists have even spoken of possibly changing their name to “Democrats”. The thinking is that a different title might help the group, particularly in eastern Europe.

sure worked in america.  happened in the early 1900's, but then that would require some investigation and closely connecting the dots.

doesn't mean republicans were without sin as well.

look up fellow travelers and how they infiltrated the FDR administration.

how does socialism create a truck?  communist russia was financed by a 30% capitalistic segment. china is more capitalistic than we are, or if they aren't, it's pretty close.

many factors not explained in losing the truck.  what percentage of income was devoted to a savings account.  what amount of time was devoted to learning a trade.  what amount of money was devoted to catastrophic health care?  i have lots of anecdotes as well.

what part about rationing is attractive?

how many on this site have an umbrella policy?

Are you guys done yet? Probably not!!
I have been polite till now but enough is enough! This was the 1st I had heard out of you on this subject , so I really can't differiante between you being polite & you being rude.

this is a cattle site not beatonobama.com That's why I put N/C on the title. I see you are a newbie , so I'll apologize to you if you didn't realize that meant  Non Cattle. But once you started reading it, you sure could have stopped.
It's a sad world indeed when I can not let my children onto a cattle site because of some bitter old codgers taking over with vile hate spewing pity the republican crap!I'm not bitter, I'm just not a believer in all the hokey pokey that Obama & his media organizations are spewing. I geuss by some I would be an old codger(I'm 44)
Trust me on this I am not alone in this!(thanks Herf for getting me started) Knabe doc the rest of you post your campaign information so we know where you are running and  what office you seek since you must be ready to do something about the problems as you see them rather than come on a web site and just I love cattle!! Is it clear enough that we are sick of this bash and slash yet??! Knabe Doc-yes I am singling you out if you are Christians as you wish Obama was then you you know that questioning a persons faith after a public confession is neither right or just. And if you question someones faith because of church attendance or working on the sabbath you are insulting many more people than Obama!!! I didn't mention religion in this post & I sure didn't question anyone's faith because of their church attendance or lack of!!
Especially in our line of work.I don't know what your line of work is!!
And if you question his faith basedon public statements on Islam read them  again for it is not Obama that judges all of Islam for the sins of a few.And yes this is free countryand you can say whatever you want where ever you want-but freedom comes responsibility and that's the rub!Take your rhetoric to the place it belongs  Where would that be?

I was not going to express any comment here, seeing I am not even an American, but a person who happens to live close to the US border, in Canada. My only comment is that I hope this rhetoric does not continue until the next election, as it seems to be consuming some of you. The election is over... you have a new President, whether you like it or not... you do not have to like him or his policies, but total negativity is not the answer either.

Personally, I think there was a large appetite for change, in your country, which has resulted in what you now have. I think you certainly got change, and history will tell us whether this was a good move or not. I am really concerned about some of the things I see happening, and I think it would be a very tough situation for any person to look good sitting in the Presidential chair right now. So...when life gives you lemons.... why don't you make lemonade?

how come its ok for liberals to run a conservative president down from election till the next inauguration and when conservatives pipe up they are quickly dismissed and told to bite their tongue?

Capitalism has more to do with health care than you think.  Just ask the places that don't have a capitalistic form of health care.  Waiting lines to get in to see anyone, I especially loved hearing that if someone is in a later state of breast cancer in England the govt. decided that it wasn't worth even trying to help them.  Also if you take capitalism out of the health care system then what incentive do private businesses have to create the new cure for cancer???

Wow. This is extremely old, hey why dont you guys start a steerplanet presidential debate? Although I dont think it would go over real well.

No ,I'm not looking to start a presidential debate, although do think the results would have been different if the media hadn't been so biased towards Obama. What I'm saying is for people to speak up & not let Obama  to make decisions that the only people that agree with it & benefit from it are illegals & people that make living on welfare a lifestyle & CHOICE . Watch this video Hereford football & you'll see a little about what I'm talking about. By the way , I've seen the video of the dancing cow now, I sure would like to see the video of some herefords playing football. ;D

Herefords playing football would be awesome!!! I'm sure if you can get a dancing cow they can get you herefords playing football! I think you'd have to ask OLDWORLDSHORTIE if they have herefords over there, but I doubt it.I would try on my herefords, but dont think it'd go over real well.  ;)  I guess a simple way to put it both parties had their good and bad, and yeah Obama definitely had the popularity vote and was hyped up more in the media, but I think there was probaly some reason behind it.

Herf.....couple things......look up the word ignorant. My main point was the U.S. Government has a thing called the congress. It has a Senate and a house of representatives. They have books on the subject. The president has veto power. The president is also in the bully pulpit if his party in controll. Legislation moves quikly through the house and slower through the senate. It is a system of checks and balances and there is a method to the madness. I stated that the following statement was a ignorant statement. If MCain were elected he would have run the country in the ground. This is an ignorant statement. A Republican president with the democrats in controll would likely have the following result. You would have a veto in place and a veto proof majority or filibuster proof majority in play. The Republican president would be limited in his power to do do a whole lot. All I am saying is that words means things. Your premis was wrong. You were setting up a straw man and then knocking it down. Nothing personal. Its just hard to have a meaningfull discussion unless their is a certain amount of intellectual integrity on both sides of the arguement. :-*

please tell me what capitalism has done for health care that has benifited anyone??....why do yo think there are so many places now  that dont have capitalistic health care in the first place??.......you cant apply capitalism to cancer or diabieties or lukiema..its a square peg in a round hole....hasnt the last 30 yrs proven that ??....when your dying you need simple comfortable care....when your dying in a capitalistic health care system what you and your family need is colloratal..?.....are you trying to say that the united states has the most succesful and effecient health care system in the world???....i'd rather lay in the hay barn and bleed to death in pain than strap my family with another generation of payments just to pay for my natural demise...jbarl
