How soon can you safely move cows that you A.I. I bring some cows home to Breed and then need to move them back to a pasture about 2 miles down the road. I only breed them one time then put them with the bull.  any thought?

Who handles Leroy's semen in the USA this year. Last year I bought some from Cattle Visions. Contacted them and they are not caring it this year. I would sure like to get some more this year. The first calves I have got sure look good.

I have had about 15 calves out of him the last two years. No problem at all calving although must have been out of cows. Very uniform calves. polled , very correct long bodied calves. Not a sorry one in the bunch.

Let's get back on the subjuct. How many know 100% dehorner's  have you all had experence with. I have use Massive no horns yet. Calves are all pretty solid no real barn burns but more important no real duds either. Seens to work will on most of my cows. What about major leroy get many horns.

The American Shorthorn Assoc. put out a list of bulls that were 100% dehorners or Homozygous polled.

Here in the south I have clover ankle deep ryegrass up to their eyes. But the heat is coming.

That helps explain all the bull calves I always get. 16 AI calves 13 bulls.  All the heifer calves some are getting , someone has to get it back to  the 50-50 Ratio!
