    Can you feed Explode (pig feed) to a steer?

    The Sunglo version of optiflex is called explosion...maybe they got the names mixed up!!  We have used explosion on steers and it works great

    the worst calf we have had out of our heatseekers have been out of PB Shorthorns... THe best so far have been a strictly business and a Hard core.  Hope that helps :)

    What works on Heat Wave Daughters?

    We have a heatwave X EXT cow that milks quite well, also have a heatseeker MaineX cow that milks..  Sometimes you have to look at the cows we are breeding these bulls to.

    We have a cow that was due on the 10th of Feb, so far nothing, we put her in and palpated today and felt the calf, the longest we have ever gone on a cow is 10 days, how about you?  THanks for any imput, it is about to drive us crazy.... ::)

    HUGE George Strait fan, to me she is good, but not in the catagory of any of her opponets for entertainer of the year or female vocolist.  On a good note, if you are going to talk about songwriting, you will have to mention Jamey Johnson... he looks like a rough critter, but he sure can write...

    Ohio Feeder Calf Roundup

    The Roundup is located at the Ohio state Fairgrounds in Columbus.  There are usuallly some pretty competitive steers and heifers up there.  I hope to see you all there :)

    heifer a little loose

    I have a hard core heifer that never seems to tighten up her manure.  She gets pleanty of 1st cutting hay and she is on show feed.  I have heard that you can give extra cottonseed hulls to help dry them up does this help or is there something else I can try ? Thanks :)
