In my experience if you just rinse it out it still has an oily feel to the hair.  Washing is the only way to get the oily hocus pocus out.

I have a student with a young heifer that is growing, but needs a deeper, fuller appearance.  She is on a 14% feed that is only 2% fat.  Is there a supplement that will work better than just adding corn or beet pulp to the ration?

Beautiful heifer!  She must be out of one whale of a simbrah cow.  How much are you asking for her and where are you located?

Does anyone have suggestions on who has any good fall born heifers or breeders that have been producing some good ones.  I am not familiar with the breed, but have students who are set on showing brangus.
