Dang that's too bad. I really liked that one and was potentially interested in her if you still had her. That's ashame about the rest of them having fluid problems. Hopefully it's fluke deal.
I like her. That's the only thing I hate about pics cause majority of the calves look straight legged. I think you can get more for that baby! Wish you the best with her! Please post updated pics on her. Would love to see she pans about weaning time! <beer>
Do you still have the one I'm talking about? Would love to see what she looks now. I'm a sucker for the blazes lol. Do you happen to remember what her breeding is?
Nice looking baby and I do agree about the legs being a little straight. Overall nice calf! What are your plans for her? Hope sure turns out well for you and good luck! <beer>
Wow sorry to hear that! I have not had that happen. If it were me I would do necropsy to make sure it's something that is nothing contagious. Unless someone on here can verify what happened to it. Sorry can't be more help but that is how I would handle it.
I learned a lot when I was in FFA and 4-H alike. Responsibility, integrity and to try my hardest at everything I do. I can go on and on but that's just a couple. Not to mention the way my parents raised me as well! Great topic by the way.
I love the EXT line. The females are awesome but like everyone else they are nasty (disposition) cattle! (lol) We had one that was fine in terms of temperament. I had friend who had a whole heard of EXT's and the high majority of them were mean. You didn't dare go into fields without being in...
I used to have on that did this early too and she was always fine. Unless you feel really uncomfortable and to set your own mind at ease you can always have her checked by a vet. Just curious is this a heifer or a cow? Good luck with her! <beer>
