Yes a big thank you to the man upstairs!! My husband had some hay grazer planted that was on its last leg but now we will get to make some hay!!! So very lucky he hit it just right!!!
I have known this family for years through steerplanet and this year at the Houston Livestock Show we finally were able to meet in person and let me just tell you this could not have happed to a nicer or harder working family!!! Congrats to you again!! <party> <party> <party> <party>...
Totally agree with the posts above!! I also think you are on the right track for calving dates in Dec. and Jan. I think we live in the same area and you would for sure have a potential customer here!! ;D Good luck!! We are going to breed probably about 5 cows to Chili Pepper this go around.
We have a steer we need to hold for about 30 days. Can anyone tell me what and how to do that and keep him fresh looking??
I was thinking beet pulp but not sure on how much to feed or if there is something better out there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What a touching story made me cry!!! Cowboy you are a true old time cowboy all the way and this is what the season is all about!!
RW-Your daughter is a beautiful girl and my heart goes out to you and your family!! What a great way to remember her!!
Merry Christmas all!!
We will be in Little Rock, Arkansas towards the end of February for a wedding. We live in south central Texas, I am just wondering if there are any steer breeders along the way??
