    Silveiras Style vs. Colburn Primo

I've got a pretty recent pic of Primo in his working clothes!  Really stout, deep and looks to be good footed.  He's not freak fronted...I'd breed to him to a pretty necked one, and maybe watch sheath.  And no...I won't post the pic on here!!    (lol)

    WANTED: steer or market heifer

I sent you a PM as well, with a link to our market heifer prospect that is still for sale.  Priced reasonable, and just 10 miles north of the IA border here in SE MN.  Let me know what you think!  Thanks... Mark...

    Dakota Gold

Does anyone have any first hand experience with Dakota Gold calves this spring?  How is the quality and calving ease?  Thanks!

Praying for a speedy recovery for your family!

    Angus calving ease

I'll second the Bush's Unbelievable recommendation!  We've used him with great success, and our first 2 daughters of him in production are very nice.  Our best calves this year are by an Unbelievable son we raised, so they breed on too.  You can use him on all breeds with great success I think.

Vin Mar O'Reilly Factor and GVC Settler

Grand Champion Pen of Three Angus bulls at the 2014 NWSS were sons of O'Reilly Factor for Bush Angus in SD.  They were very good!

    Bushs Unbelievable?

Very good bull!  We will have 3 Unbelievable daughters calving in a month to Soo Line Motive, so will know more on udders and milking ability fairly soon.  All in all, we really like them.  We will also have 4 calves coming by our son of Unbelievable too.  They are pictured on our website.  We...

    BC Eagle Eye 110-7

Our first hand experience on dispositions is great...very quiet cattle, so not sure who told you differently.  If you believe in the AAA numbers, he is +29 for docility.  That is in the very elite top 2% of the breed for that trait.  I think he improved dispositions on the cows he was bred to at...

    BC Eagle Eye 110-7

I was told by someone at Genex that the semen quality on Eagle Eye was second to none...and had some of the best conception rates with sexed semen.  For the price, it sure wouldn't hurt to use 2 straws 12 hours apart to assure better conception since you want AI heifer calves.  We used him the...

    Bojo Female

CAB...what have you heard on the Journey reports?  Saw a couple calves pictured on FB that look nice, but don't have any first hand experience.  Just curious...he was on our short list too!

    Bojo Female

Try Bush's Unbelievable...we've had 2 calf crops, on all registered Angus cows.  Easy calving and excellent looks!  Nice fronted, and lots of rib.  There are several Unbelievable daughters pictured in the First Class Sale out of xbred genetics, and they look excellent as well.  Here is the link...

    BC Eagle Eye

Check into BC Classic at Select Sires.  Sexed heifer semen, and I think he'll give you a more moderate, easier fleshing version compared to Eagle Eye.  There were some pretty good calves sold last spring out of him, in both Angus and Clubby herds.  Might be worth a look....

    BC Eagle Eye

I think you'll like those Unbelievable's!  We had our 2nd crop of them this spring (3 hd in our small herd) and they came easy and have a great look, all out of heifers.  Our 3 bred heifers by Unbelievable look great!  Bred 2 to Soo Line Motive and 1 to Boss Predator.  Could be some exciting...

    BC Eagle Eye

Scott...we got along good with Eagle Eye in one calf crop.  So good we retained a bull back and used him hard last year.  He was an Eagle Eye X Famous.  Got 10 calves by him weaned a few weeks ago and they are nice.  Eagle Eye will give you more power and grow than Lookout, so he might mate well...

    Angus EPD's

My guess is the dam has "interim" epd's, so they are just an average of her parents.  Unless you have 2 other Angus calves with yours, to make a contemporary group, and you submit the birth and weaning records, she will not generate epd's on her paper.  I would just suggest doing an Igenity or...

    Anyone seen UpNorth at Nichols?

I saw him at Nichols...  He was young, but very nice for a sim-angus.  Had a great look to him and seemed sound on his feet and legs.  Not real big, but bigger than some of the clubby bred bulls.  I left with a very positive impression of him, and grabbed a flyer to see how he was bred.  He...

    New steer sires.

Anybody have some Two Tone calves they'd like to report on, at this stage, or how you think they'll develop?  We bred our black baldy Tiger Woods to him so was curious.  Thanks!

    Bulls for angus heifers

We used Dark Horse his first year on a couple cows.  Do not use him on heifers.  We got 2 bulls and they were plenty big.  Turned out decent, but definitely not a heifer bull.  Maybe try BC Classic at Select Sires for the heifers.  Good luck...

    Who raises good angus steers?

How is this for a purebred Angus?  Pictured at 45 days old...out of our BullsEye herd bull.  Several half brothers to him as well that look nice!  ;D
