Sorry to hear that. $1000.00 is enough that I wouldnt drop the issue. Id file a small claim and at this point I would want my money back. Is the seller even close to you geographically, or sell breeding stock? Im guessing they wouldnt want the bad publicity.

Definitely use a cidr. I always give 2cc  cysterelin when I put in. 7 days later pull the cidr and give lutalyse. If you dont observe a heat try a 2nd dose of lutalyse 11 days later. Good luck, I usually wait 45 days post calving but I know it has been done successfully earlier.

Another option to consider would be WC No Remorse.  Really nice out cross to your heifers pedigrees and would add some maternal traits for possible replacement heifers.

From what you described I would highly recommend Royal Affair.  I think he would deliver what you are looking for.  Guts, muscle and structure.  I really like his calves.

I don't think so. Because of his injury they don't have him jump a steer to collect and it sounds like he was kinda hit and miss on collection.
