First off I'd really hate to be the vet that signed off on the herd health! It wasn't like they didn't know there was an outbreak of it locally.
But it was a dispersal, of a just passing through to do a tax shelter, multiplier ranch. And it was the most disorganized dispersal I had ever...
Thanks for all the work you are doing to get the site moved to it's new home. And I second the call to transfer the blogs.
And while you're at it could you add SD's blog back to the menu?
Thanks. (clapping)
That's a very nice heifer. And she could do well in a bigger show. Hang in there, the numbers of Red Angus showers is growing.
If you want to show in a bigger group of Red's, check out the North American Junior Red Angus show site http://www.jrredangusshow.com/ it will be in Stillwater, OK...
So I went looking for more information on a couple of the heifers that were in the supreme ring at the KSF. And when I googled "Kansas State Fair Red Angus" the results came back with a very interesting SP connection.
Grady Dickerson (according to the KSF website). She was the real deal. I have seen that heifer at several shows and it has been fun to watch her come on.
That was a really nice Char heifer that was crowned supreme. But the one I was impressed with was the champion Red Angus heifer. What a solid truck of a female and walked so smooth. JMHO

Well, if we are going to be bringing them in we will pay them + expenses but they do our cattle only. (if they are professional and do a professional job they get a bonus too) And if we are done with unfitting and wash down they then are free to fit for others.
We have had trouble with rush...
Actually, even though there were some really nice cattle in Denver, there wasn't much new in pedigrees. A lot of followers not many innovators.
The most interesting pedigree was the Grand Champion steer.
