A friend was telling me about a place in Bryan (I think he said Bryan, maybe Brenham) that works with show steers. They trim hooves, help you with what to feed, etc. Supposedly they do it all! And he said they have cooler rooms and things, but I forgot what it was called  ??? Anyone heard of it?

Heard about beet pulp (good things) so went and bought a bag to supplement with. I heard you should wet it first (?) Have you guys had any luck supplementing with it? How much do you recommend I feed? Opinions on it?

Do you really need a cooler room to grow hair? It just seems like a lot of space and money. Can't you just rinse and brush? My steer is getting wonderful hair ( 1 inch of growth in a couple days) and all I do is rinse him twice a day. And it's in 100 degree weather!The thing is I don't even care...
